Cultivating Latino Leadership and Opportunity in Monterey County
The Siembra Latinos Fund (SLF) was created by a group of local Latino leaders to build on a culture of philanthropy. It grants to local nonprofits working to advance economic mobility for Monterey County’s Latino community.
“Siembra” means “to sow” and since 2018 the fund has granted more than $150,000 to nonprofits growing opportunity and improving the quality of life for local Latino residents. With over 100 donors and donations ranging from $20 to $20,000, these grants exemplify the power of collective giving.

The Community Foundation for Monterey County is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law.
