Who receives a tax receipt?
The tax receipt will be issued in the name of the credit card holder and will be emailed to the address provided. If the company card option is selected, a receipt will be issued in the company name to the address provided.
How do I give by check?
To make a gift by check, please make your check payable to: “Community Foundation for Monterey County” or "CFMC" and mail to: Community Foundation for Monterey County, 2354 Garden Road, Monterey, CA 93940. In the memo, specify the name of the fund(s) you wish to support.
How do I make a donor advised fund grant?
If you have a Donor Advised Fund with the Community Foundation for Monterey County, you can make a grant via our Donor Portal at cfmco.org or contact your Philanthropic Services Officer, Brian Thayer or Alisa Smith at 831.375.9712. If you have a Donor Advised Fund elsewhere, be sure to include the fund name as the purpose and have the grant sent to: Community Foundation for Monterey County, 2354 Garden Road, Monterey, CA 93940. Can an acknowledgement for an honorary or memorial gift be sent by mail?
The person you select will receive an email notification to the email address you provide. If you would like a notification sent by mail, please include the recipient's name and address in the "Leave a Comment” field.
